New work 2019

This work is a collection of places that are very important to me or of animal(s) that have a special connection with me.  Great Dixter is a favourite garden of mine.  I visit a lot.  The planting and feel of the place have had a massive effect on my work as an artist and as a gardener.....pink and yellow...yes please!

The sea...moving recently, I have exchanged one beach for another one, both are special and  provide another safe haven, an escape,  The sea has a positive effect on us, it's the negative ions.  Luckily 'my' beach is nearly always empty, just the birds and I plus the sound of the sea.

Animals.  Watching the birds, so special at this time of the year with the newborns and others...the hens that rush to see me when I'm working in the community garden.  And I can never forget Twenty Ram.  From the time that he was born and he came and sat on my knee and nobody elses, we were friends.  He recently retired to a beautiful place near Brighton where he lives with two Soay sheep, horses and ducklings.  He is visited by many children, especially those who have complex needs.  He has found his purpose.  I still go to visit him.
